Scamp Goes to the Rainbow Bridge
It is with a heavy heart
and many tears that I have to tell you that Scampers passed away a little
before 5 this morning. He had been diagnosed with kidney failure last
week and had been steadily going downhill. It had become a challenge to
get him to eat for the last several days and had completely stopped eating as
of Monday evening. Yesterday he stopped drinking. He would walk to
the water dish and just stand there but wouldn't drink. My husband and I
took turns holding him throughout the night and around 5 this morning he took
his last breath. We so loved this sweet little guy with his Mohawk and
lop sided ears. We will miss him terribly.
