Molly Moo Crosses the Rainbow Bridge

Molly Moo, the permanent foster of Vicki and Nick Rowe, crossed the rainbow bridge.  In the time that she was with the Rowes, Miss Moo experienced all the love and caring that she had never known before.  Miss Moo was a basic Boston love and just wanted to be near her people.  She loved food, peanut butter filled kongs, bully sticks, snuggling on the couch, and burying her nose under the covers.

She loved being with her sisters Tink and Ori, both of whom were also rescue babies, and they were all fortunate to find the Rowes, where they were loved and cherished and spoiled.  Tink was waiting for Miss Moo at the rainbow bridge and now they are playing together, free from pain or cares.

Our sympathies to Vicki, Nick and Ori, who exemplify the very best of rescue.  I know they would tell you that they were the lucky ones to have Miss Moo and Tink in their lives, and they will never be forgotten.

New Foster Treach

Foster Treach and my Kitty in the same bed! Very exciting for us because Kitty is so aggressive that we were afraid we would not be able to foster again. Apparently taking it slow helps. Keep your fingers crossed that they continue to get along. Treach goes to the vet tomorrow to see about his bad knees. We'll let you know how it goes.

New Foster Brutus

Brutus is here! Thanks to Sara for transporting him to us. So far he is a very sweet little guy - not at all hyper and distant like the shelter said. One thing is correct though - he wants to eat my cats! LOL More importantly, though, is that he's SEVERELY underweight. He's 27 lbs and we can see/feel his spine, ribs and hip bones. He's currently getting 1 cup twice daily of his Wellness, but we're going to up that to 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 cups.

Here are some pictures of Brutus - this boy is so easily distracted, it was next to impossible to get a shot of him looking at the camera! LOL

Mason Goes to His Forever Home

Another happy ending! Mason was found as a stray and dropped off at a New Jersey shelter. A foster home was found and his new foster mom, Krissie, ran right down and picked him up. That was the first day of his brand new life. This past weekend he found his forever home and was officially adopted. He now lives in Long Island with his new parents, Catalina and Victor, and they already love him tons. Here is their first of hopefully many updates.

“It has been going great. Today was our first day leaving him home while we went to work. We felt bad leaving him of course but he was fine and greeted us happily when we arrived. He's the best 1ST time doggie that we could have ever hoped for. We're grateful. When going to bed last night he barked several times downstairs like he wasn't ready to say goodnight, but he tired and went to bed. He loves the couch. Thanks for the list of commands...he has been listening and walking on the leash is getting better. Thanks again for being awesome through this!
