Thanks to Denice Schnaak

Look what our NEBTR volunteer, foster mom, app liaison, transporter (and I'm sure I'm forgetting all the other things she does) sent to us for our foster packages! She found a great sale and couldn't resist buying them all up for our rescues and their foster families!! We have gourmet treats AND grain free treats!

Denice was the volunteer who also got us a huge supply of Nylabones that lasted for well over a year for our new foster packages. (so everyone reading this who has received a foster package with a Nylabone, Denice had the in on that donation from Nylabone!)

Thank you so much Denice and family. This is really appreciated!!!

Update on WIlbur, and He Says Thanks

Wilbur received a Welcome Package from a generous  donor last week.  Due to some technical difficulties,  I am not able to send pictures.  Thank you so much for your love and kindness towards our precious fosters.  It is so, so appreciated!

I took Wilbur to the vet last week and he had some serious issues with his eyes.  We knew he was blind but he also has Glaucoma and his eyes were extremely red.  He is on three different eye drops.  His eyes are already looking so much better.

The vet also found a sore on his upper gum.  When I take him back for his eyes they will check into the mouth.  Hopefully it is nothing serious.

He is such a sweet & gentle love bug.  He is settling in well and gets around really good.  I think he will be a wonderful companion for someone and gets along great with other dogs.  He is also very smart!

Zoey Says Thanks for the Welcome Package

Zoey got her new foster welcome package today!  She sniffed it once and tore it open.  She found the Bully stick and has been happily chewing since.

She's keeping a close eye on the little stuffed puppy and dog in there too but this Bully stick is clearly a priority right now.

Thanks to everyone that makes these little packages possible

More on Bella

Bella is so happy with all her nice gifts from Stacie Kyle and NEBTR members and supporters.  She became so excited with all her new things, it was difficult to get a picture with her and all her new toys and wardrobe, she was moving so quickly to look at and play with everything, including her new coats.  Her favorites: the turquoise braid and her argyle sweater.

Bella is doing very well: the antibiotics are healing the puncture wound on her lip and injured left foot, the eye cream/antibiotic is helping her dry eye and eye infection, and she is much livelier now that antibiotics are conquering the anaplasmosis in her body.  She is scheduled for spaying and mass removal/biopsy on 1 March.

Bella is a lovebug, wants to be with me at all times.  She and Abigail sleep and cuddle together, Abigail even gives her kisses, but when it comes to her new toys, Bella makes it very clear to Abigail that affection has its limits.

Jeanne Dro ss aka Rosie's mom, mother of Abigail and foster Bella

I am happy to read that Bella is coming along nicely with antibiotics and LOVE....Good luck Bella on March 1ST. I am sure that your foster Mom will send updates on your surgery and recovery.I'll bet that Abigail understands the 'rules' when it comes to toys. It is so nice to see that you both can cuddle together. --
