Berklee Goes to the Rainbow Bridge

We send our deepest sympathy to BJ Capelli and Leslie Poprik.  They are not only fans of our page and huge supporters of our rescues, they are also winners of the Wells Fargo, "What Makes a Home" contest! And that's not all - their now famous BT, Berklee, is one of the stars of the film and he plays the tambourine! Berklee donated his share of the winning prize money to NEBTR.

 We have just learned of  Berklee's passing. He was a supporter as well as a donor to NEBTR. He was featured in a prize winning video attached here. Thank you for all the smiles you brought to NEBTR fosters and their families Berklee. You will not be forgotten by those you loved, and those you helped. RIP

Jax the Early Bird

Seriously, Jax is moving up his dinnertime each week. Normal dinner time is 4-4:30, but this picture was taken at 3:06. I come walking into the kitchen from the yard and I here my husband saying, "Jax, what are you looking for, the early bird special It's 3:00!"

I choked on my water laughing so hard....:) He's a happy boy and we love him dearly... (although  he is the ring leader for the other 2 girls - they depend on him...:)

Patsy in Her Forever Home

Thank you so much for everything you did for our Patsy. She has opened up soo much today. Gave me belly and kisses and we chased each other around the yard all day. Shes really sweet and she runs lightening fast lol.. it's obvious you took great care of her and gave her a ton of affection. Her and Abbey are getting along well together. She's an awesome addition to our family. Here's a pic of princess patsy getting ready to run away with her toy.

Update on Achilles

Hi! Just wanted to update on Achilles. He had surgery on Monday for a herniated disk in his neck. He was having serious neurological deficits, and our choices were operate or eventually put him to sleep. So...we had no choice. He's doing well, and came home yesterday.

Sara Says Thanks

I would like to thank those who have sent Sara some Goodies  in the Last week.  She really has been excited with all the mail.  

 When we got home from our vacation, there were several boxes waiting for Sara!  We spread everything out on the table and put her in the middle of it all!  She was so excited!

She also received gifts from Ellen Thelin, Rebecca Mcintire, and Elizabeth Quinn.

I would like to thank them as well.

Today she received her Prayer blanket. and a pretty little pink Blanket. Please thank FABB  (Betsy Hunter Brandon) for the prayer blankets. They get a big thank you from Sara!

Today is not a good day for Sara.  she is not feeling very well.  We  had her to the vet for her recheck on Tuesday.  The meds are helping.  but we know it is just a matter of time. keeping her comfy and loved is what it is all about now.
