Jinx Goes to the Rainbow Bridge

With sadness, we offer our sympathy to Strausie Stephens on her loss of the beautiful Jinx.  Jinx was her first foster, and stayed on as a loved and cherished member of her family.  Sadly,  she writes that "he had a tumor in his nose and it was really obstructing his breathing. He made a big impact in a short time. We will miss him."

Thank you for being there for him when he needed it most, and for showing love to Jinx for the final part of his life.  I know that Jinx and all of us appreciated it.

Jinx is Adopted

Congratulations to Jinx, who has found his forever home with his foster Mom Strausie Stevens.  This beautiful senior boy was an owner surrender, and he will love the rest of his life surrounded by love with Strausie.

Strausie wrties,
" Hello everyone,
Just want to let you know we have decided to keep our foster, Jinx.  I know it doesn't set the best precedent, keeping your first foster, but I had tried to contact a couple of potential families with no success and then we lost our old man beagle.  He was a bit stubborn and 13 and Jinx is a bit stubborn and 11 so he fills the hole left by Vance nicely.   But truthfully, we are so lucky to have him and so thankful to Robin for saying he might "already be home".  Thank you so much!"

Congratulations, Strausie, Jinx has a wonderful home with you and your husband. He really is cute, hard to resist that face.

Jinx Has His Home

Hello everyone,
Just want to let you know we have decided to keep our foster, Jinx. I know
it doesn't set the best precedent, keeping your first foster, but I had
tried to contact a couple of potential families with no success and then we
lost our old man beagle. He was a bit stubborn and 13 and Jinx is a bit
stubborn and 11 so he fills the hole left by Vance nicely. I think he knew
the check was in the mail, too, as he immediately started pottying in the
house again :-) But truthfully, we are so lucky to have him and so
thankful to Robin for saying he might "already be home". Thank you so much!

Congratulations, Strausie, you are an official foster failure.  Having met you, I know you and your husband will provide a wonderful home for Jinx.

New Foster Jinx

jinx

Hello everyone,
We got our new foster, Jinx, last night. He came to us via surrender. The same family had had him his whole life. He looks fantastic for a "gentleman of a certain age"! He is 11. He's assimilating well, I think.

-- Strausie Stevens

Thank you Strausie for opening your heart and home to this beautiful senior boy!

You are doing a wonderful thing for this gentleman. Dogs are the best as they age, so you got the best of him. Thanks for being wonderful.
