Happy Anniversary Ruby

Note:  Ruby, formerly known as Macy, was Leslie Kaucic's first foster with NEBTR.  Leslie sent an anniversary card to Judy Sedita (how cute is that?)  and below is Judy's response:

Hi Leslie!
It's so nice of you to remember Ruby's Anniversary! She was here for 1 year on June11th...and she is the LOVE of my life...(and everyone else's life!) I can't imagine my life without her...She comes with us in the car whenever possible and really just wants to BE with us...She does think she is the "mayor" of our complex and BARKS accordingly at strange dogs and neighbors...She really does no wrong in my eyes! She has had a few bladder issues (a weak sphincter muscle) but the vet is madly in love with her and she gives him plenty of kisses, so he takes excellent care of her! She loves her family and has her choice of beds to cuddle up in at night and loves to take naps on the couch....soooo, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for sending her to us!!! Other than my kids, she is the best gift I have ever received! I will attach some pictures. I hope you and yours are all well and enjoy the summer! Thanks, Judy

Update on Ruby

Thought you might enjoy seeing what Ruby found on the lawn out front! A seagull must have dropped it & of course SHE picked it up! She was very proud of herself! Hope you are well...She is just WONDERFUL! Thank you for sending her to us!!! Judy

Macy Goes to Her Forever Home

Last weekend, sweet little Macy went to begin her new life with her forever mom,  Judy Sedita.  Macy was being fostered by a wonderful foster Mom, Leslie, who lives outside Pittsburgh PA, in Morgan Pa.  Her forever Mom lives on Long Island.  That's a long way apart for a young pup to travel!

Thanks to a group of NEBTR volunteers, Macy got home last Saturday.  She went from Leslie to Jess B to Jess C to Ellen to Eduardo to Judy.  And she traveled all the way in great good humor and style.  She got and gave lots of kisses, and everyone who helped her out fell in love with her.  Thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers she made it safely!

Leslie reported,  "I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all involved in Macy's transport. Just heard from Judy and they are home and Macy is exploring her new place and toys! Judy was so excited!  It was 6 weeks this weekend I had her and it was sad saying goodbye to her, but am so happy she found a home."  Eduardo, who met Judy, said that Macy was very happy with her new Mom!

Big thanks to all who participated, especially Leslie, who started Macy on her new life with loving care, and also to Andrea, who did the home check.

New Foster Macy

Hi everyone! I am new foster mom Leslie and I have my first foster 1 1/2 yr old Macy. She seems like a great dog after a week. Her only problem is she can't be with other pets. But, she has been getting along with our golden under close supervision. Not so much the cats! I put up a few pics, she's a cutie!
