Vegas Says Thanks
Vegas would like to say thank you to Samantha (Sam Whipple) for the "pet Naturals of Vermont - Calming Support soft chews". We start his day off with one a day and he enjoys them very much. Every little trick helps to keep this guy happy and stress free :).
For a 9.5 year old Boston - this guy still enjoys playing with toys! He plays just enough that he then tires himself out.
Vegas wants to wish Susie Gervais for the soft and cozy bed & fun Plush Skinneeez toy she purchased for him.
Check out the pix of his awesome gifts!
Warm Regards,
Judith Liu

Waffles Does Well After Surgery
I picked my little lady up today, she is doing very well. She has a lot of shaved hair, and an Elizabethan collar but is being a champ!

New Foster Jabba
Jabba was neutered today and he is doing fantastic! He is a 7 yr old sweet heart that gets along with people and pets. He is very vocal and some could be taken back by the barking, when he barks he is making demands he is a talker. He was a runner and we hope neutering will help with his need to run and mark constantly. This precious boy is recovering from his neuter and being treated for whip worm. He will make a special family the best forever BT a fenced yard will be a must.

Patsy and Gidget Got Gifts
I came home from work yesterday to find several boxes for Patsy & Gidget at my front door. They were so excited to see all of the great things that some amazing people sent them. They loved everything! I'm attaching a couple photos of them playing with their new toys & one of Patsy wearing her beautiful new collar. We want to thank everyone who sent the girls gifts. Thank you!

Zeke Says Thanks for the Gifts
Hello all,
Zeke just wanted to send a big Woof Woof out to Lauren Zysling for the Benebone bacon and Zuke’s Mini Naturals (these are truly delicious) and to Ellen Thelin for the PetSafe Reflective Easy Walk Dog Harness and Leash and the Loving Pets Diner. He loves them all and can’t wait until after his dental work to tear into that Benebone. Thanks to everyone for all of his wonderful gifts. He will have much luggage when he goes off to his forever home.
Sandy.
New Foster Bruno
Hi everyone,
Here is a picture of our new foster, Bruno. He has been with us for two weeks and we love him more and more each day. He is between 4 and 5, neutered, up to date on all shots and weighs about 25 pounds. He has cataracts in both eyes so he does have some vision loss but he manages to get around fine. He has a little trouble going down some stairs but once he gets some practice, he goes down them on his own.
He loves to play, is an amazing snuggler, perfectly housebroken and is just a big sweetheart.

More on Trenton and Tasha
Trenton and Tasha had their first vet visit with us last
night. Overall great report. Both have bad ear infections but have
started treatment for that. Both have kennel cough and we have started
treatment for that as well. Other than that both looked pretty good.
Tasha has started coming out of her shell a little bit, has learned to navigate the stairs with my wife's assistance already. Trenton is a wonderful boy, he just wants to play and love, he is too funny.
No introductions to our pack yet due to the kennel cough, will wait until that clears up. I sense no issue with that , they are very social and I anticipate no problem.
So far all has been good and is progressing very well.
Thanks,
Louis
That is great news! Looking forward to hearing all about them as they get settled in.

More on Yoda
So we picked Yoda up about a week and a half ago, he was surrendered
by his owners after having been bounced around from home to home, through no fault of his own, and he
is starting to relax a bit and trust us. He is a very sweet little
dog, but is understandably nervous-. He gets along great with the
other dogs, although was a bit dominant in the beginning. He needs some
work on potty training still, although he has gotten better in this
last week, he will probably still need some work in his adoptive home
and I am sure will improve with stability and routine. He loves chasing shadows or light on
the wall, but he doesn't seem to want to play much with any of the other
dog toys.
We are starting to see his true personality a bit-he is pretty quiet until someone comes home and he gets excited, he loves to curl up on our laps (where he is at the moment making it real easy to type this!), he is slightly mischievious, definitely a snorter but not a snorer, does great with the other dogs, knows-sit, shake, down, roll over (although this is more of a standing spin lol), does great in the car, loves to explore the yard (he had a bad experience with an invisible fence, so a solid fence is recommended) and I think he would do best with older children.

Maeby Is at the Rainbow Bridge
Thanks to everyone for their prayers and kinds words for
Maeby. We helped her cross over the rainbow bridge this evening. She
is no longer in pain, and can run free with all the other wonderful
souls that have gone before her.,
Maeby may have been with us for 2 and 1/2 years, but to us, she has always been here. We have been blessed and honored to have Maeby as our Foster and then as our own.
MAEBY:
You were wandering the streets for months.
You were skinny and scruffy.
You came to us unsure of what was happening.
No name, no past, nothing but you.
We brought you in, gave you a bath,
Named you properly for we were not really sure what you were!
Love, patience, understanding is what you got. Unconditional love is
what we got back.
Sweet Maeby, Loud Maeby, Loving Maeby!
You will never be forgotten. You will forever be in our hearts.
Run free My sweet girl! Cancer can no longer haunt you.
Tammy and Holli.
Tammy and Holli, I am sorry for your loss...Rest in Peace, Maeby...
So sorry. Run free Miss Maeby, run free...

PetValu Event a Success
What a fun time today at PetValu in Dresher!! A very special thanks to Bonnie, Janice, Ray and Beth for making it happen! And, Scooby kissed everybody that came close!!
One of the highlights of our Meet and Greet at the Dresher, PA
PetValu was a lady with 2 of the cutest Bostons ever. As soon as she
walked up, she said they were Bailey and Maggie that she adopted from
us. She went on to say that "Louise" in Quakertown had fostered them.
After we figured out that it was actually the "wine jelly lady"--we all
figured out it was Cynthia M! We all had a great laugh--and Bailey and
Maggie are just beautiful. How fun it is to see one of our success
stories!
And, we had 4 other people show up because they follow us on Facebook. It's amazing how far reaching Facebook is for us.
Regards,
Joy and comatose Squirt

Happy Gotcha Day Scooby Doo
Let me see I have so much to be thankful for... when Scooby came into my life. I had lost my Boston Terrier named Bobby awhile back. He was my late husband's dog so when I lost him it was as though I had lost the last part of my husband that I had to hang onto. I wasn't even sure if I wanted another dog in my life and didn't for some time. But once you have owned Bostons you're addicted and I knew Bobby would have welcomed another dog.
I then decided to join NEBTR and if a dog was meant to be in my life again it would happen through fostering. Well little did I know the first dog that arrived at my home would be Scooby Doo. He had been abandoned out of a car and he looked at every car as though they were his owners returning for him; that broke my heart. Even though I never really thought about it.....................I was abandoned also but by no fault of my husband's. The more Scooby stopped watching every car that passed expecting them to take him home I realized that Scooby just like me needed him as much as he needed me. Not that I didn't love him already but it became so clear that we were so much in need of each other.
The best day of my life has been since I adopted Scooby and he's such a huge part of my life now. He has attended every adoption event that I have been to and it's as though he knows what to do to make people feel happy when he gives his loving licks. He lays it on to the adults but seems to know that babies need more gentle kisses. But you know what the best thing of all is...........................that Scooby Doo saves the best kisses of all for me !!!!! I LOVE YOU SCOOBY DOO!! thank you so much for coming into my life
Bonnie Towner
Bonnie, what a great Happy Gotcha Day story! You are both so lucky to have found each other.
Oh my....There is a large
lump in my throat. Your story was heartfelt. I can only imagine your
sorrow when your husband passed and then soon after your beloved Bobby.
There are no coincidences in life, I truly believe that things happen
for a reason, although at the time we don't understand why bad things
happen or great things happen to us.
Scooby
Doo did come into your life - your world for many reasons. One of the
greatest things that Scooby has done for you was to make you smile once
again. You saw in him something that no one else cared to open their
hearts to see. For Scooby his abandonment was so undeserving, as your
husbands death was for you.
Enjoy those kisses from Scooby...you and he are a match made from heaven...Your husband lives on in Scooby and so does Bobby.
Happy gotcha day, Scooby Doo!!

New Foster Boo Boo
Hi all. So my new foster boy is here. Thanks to Vicki Rowe for helping and meeting me on his transport. His name is Boo Boo and he is so gorgeous! He is a 4 year old neutered male, utd on his shots, calm beautiful Boston. He is not over or underweight.
He seems to be very gentle and he is very curious. Sniffs every thing! He went pee and poo in the yard when we got home. Tried to feed him some dinner..but not interested yet. Will try again later. He is a gate jumper so baby gating him in the kitchen is a no go.
He is pretty good on a leash. Pulls a bit, but not terrible. More training on that and he will be a pro. Not sure he knows his name......or if this is even his name...but not deaf because he knows the sit and come here commands.
Also gave him a bath (sorry no pics) and what a dream! He jumped right into the tub!! Couldn't believe it. Stood there the whole time and didn't even try to get out. Loved it the entire time.
Keeping hi m separated from my beagle and Boston is going OK so far. They have been sniffing each other thru the x-pen and crate and I think he wants to play but not sure yet.
More to come soon as he gets more adjusted to our home and schedule.
