Just wanted to share this adorable picture of my first sucess story.  Leo was adopted 3 weeks ago.  I have gotten tons of great pictures from his forever family.  Leo (left) and his new brother Randy(right).  They even look alike! This guy was so scared and anxious when he came to us in January and it was so worth the every bit of patience to find his perfect family when he was ready.

BooBoo is Ready for His Forever Home

Quick update on booboo. He went to the vet today to have his staples removed from his fatty mass tumors removal. Dr was amazed at how well BooBoo's  incision site looked. No swelling, or redness. Gave him a shot of antibiotic just in case. Gave home clean bill of health! Says he's ready to find his forces home. Bring on the applicants and let's promote this wonderful boy on both fb and petfinder.

Delgado Doing Great in Foster Home

Delgado went in for his neuter yesterday and he did very well.  Everyone at the Vet’s office loves him and said he was very well behaved. On the way in at 8am we met a young couple with a BT 5 month old puppy named Dooley and they both hit it off right away. They both said that they had not seen their dog so taken by another male dog. They hugged each other and then just played together while we were checking them in for surgery.

Delgado seems to love everyone he meets, people and other dogs. He is definitely a lover. He will have the E-collar on for 2 weeks so in the meantime I will start the addendum and the description for Pet Finder. He should be very easy to place. He has his Rabies and Neuter certificates. Fecal was negative and he is up to date on his shots. HW and Lyme were negative. He is one healthy little boy except for his teeth which are pretty yellow with tartar. He doesn’t like hard food by itself so I put chicken broth on it and microwave it for 20 seconds to soften it.  He loves squeaky toys and playing tug o war with me and my Granddaughter.  He is all around a good dog. He should be placed in a home with other dogs and children 8 years or older. I’ve not seen him around cats so not sure about that.

TJ Gets Adopted

TJ went to his forever home on Friday. He settled right in and has already claimed his comfy spot on the couch! He learned how to use a doggie door and is trying very hard not to sniff his new cat sibling too much.

Bentley Got Mail

Hi guys, it's me the new foster Bentley! Most people think I'm a boy because of my name....but I'm a really sweet and pretty girl!

I got some mail today!! New toys and treats! Thank you so much to the donors who gave me this in my welcome package.  I'm really loving this place called a foster home! Can't wait to find my forever home!

Tucker Says Thanks

Hi Everyone: Tucker here. I got a present in the mail today even if it isn't Christmas. Foster mom had to take me up to a room and lock my foster sisters out because they think everything is for them. I might share a bone or greenie but the toys are mine!

I arrived on Thursday and have been pretty much on a lap or out for walks since I got here. My foster mom says I'm lucky they are on vacation this week and I shouldn't get used to it.

Foster mom is very excited. I hear her keep saying that I remind her so much of Stella, her grand dog that died last year. Stella's moms are coming to meet me tomorrow to see what they think. They've been missing Stella so much and want to have another dog to spoil rotten. Foster mom is pretty sure they will fall in love instantly with me. And if they don't which we don't think will happen, Foster Dad says I'm going to be a failed foster- whatever than means. I think it means I'm all set.

We did good until about 1:30ish and then we got a cloud burst.  We decided to start packing up since everything was wet and by the time we had the truck packed up the sun was shining.   Go figure, right!  Aside from that it was a good day

Meet Miss Bentley

Bentley was picked up from upstate NY this weekend. She's about 3.5 years old and is currently being fostered in Allentown, PA. Bentley is a big girl! She's very tall and can reach all the way up to the counters! I lost a plate of bacon this weekend - oh well lesson learned :-o

She is very happy and super playful! She hasn't shown any signs of aggression towards my other foster in the house. She'll need some work on house training, jumping, and pulling on the leash! But other than that Bentley will make a perfect pup for someone.
