We made it to the vet just before they closed last night because TJ was acting strange and not able to pee. It was a good thing, he had 5 stones in his bladder and 2 more that he tried to pass and were stuck. They kept him over night. I just got an update. They removed the stones and neutered him all went well and he was just starting to wake up. We should be able to bring him back home tomorrow and he will have a nice surprise waiting for him. Somebody got some goodies form Amazon!!!!! Stay tuned......

Olive is Starting to Warm Up

Olive is starting to warm up to me and has a ton of energy. She ran around and played ball last night....catch after catch! She loves to run. She has a lot of Spunk and energy! She's in a wonderful place now where she'll receive lots of love. I got her to climb on the cooler in our mudroom and look at the window. She then relaxed and laid down. You can just see the sweetness in her eyes. :)

But you don’t have to worry, because I LOVE to cuddle too. Oh, and if you have a free hand, you are welcome to pet me anytime. I love my bones and toys and have a very good appetite; I will eat what you feed me. I’m a good boy and I will guard my family and house because I am very devoted to you, but it takes me a while to warm up to strangers. I can be a bit nippy so that makes me a bit too rough for children. I’d prefer to be the only dog because I can be a bully of sorts and push other dogs around. My foster Mom has not tried me around cats, but when I lived in PR, I lived with 5 cats and 2 dogs. Everything is kind of new to me here, so give me love and leadership and I bet we can be best friends. I love you, el amigo’s! Handsome Frank

Vegas Hangs Out

New Foster Olive

Olive was rescued yesterday from a shelter in Buffalo NY! The team at the shelter fell in love with her sweet personality and contacted NEBTR so we could get her in a foster home and eventually a forever home. With the help of our volunteers she made her transport to Allentown, Pa for her foster home.

She's 4 years old and about 24lbs. She has a sweet personailty. Still getting familiar with her but will send updates.

Zeke Is Ready for a Forever Home

Zeke is ready to go to a forever home. He has made amazing progress here and I consider him a very special boy. I’ve included a couple more pictures I just took today. He is the sweetest little boy. It will be hard to say good bye.

TJ Says Thanks

TJ got his 1st delivery yesterday, his welcome package! He has been with us almost a week now and has not shown any interest in any of the treats we had other then the Milk Bones that he came with. We were beginning to think that was all he likes but the treats that came in the welcome package he went nuts for!!! He also likes the toys too but I had to put the treats away before he would play with them. Thank you for helping him settle in.....
