Gus Is Adopted
Gus got adopted today by his new mom Liz. He will be living with grandma and grandpa since Liz is only 15. ;).
Liz and her parents love Boston Terriers. Gus will have a sister name Greta. They are the same age.
He was in love with his new mom. They were playing together and he gave her kisses right away. Heart warming.

Send Good Well Wishes to Gus
Gus had his MCT removed today. His surgery went well, no issues like last time. I'm so relieved.
He is home. And resting.

Gus After a Week in His Foster Home
After a little scare last week,Gus is doing great
He is such a beautiful boy.
He gets along with his Foster brother. He loves his one foster bro Mr B a little too much. ;). He really could do without little foster sister Penny.
He is a sweet boy. I'm still trying to learn his language. He talks a lot. Lol. It means a range of things. I want a blanket, let me out, I want to held etc.
He gives kisses. He does great at night in his kennel. We had him on the weekend in our bed and he loved it.
He loves playing ball and kills them Lol. As you can see below he is not ashamed of his deed.
He is fully housebroken. Really a dream.
I found a second bump on him. He has to have the one on his chest removed anyway. Since he has recovered well from his surgery I assume we will try again soon.

Gus Has Surgery Today
Gus will have surgery today. He has a little bump between his neck and chest. I'm hypersensitive to bumps, my Louie had one last year and it ended up being a Mast Cell Tumor.
I felt the same thing on Gus and had it aspirated to see if it was just a bump. Unfortunately it was not. It is a Mast Cell Tumor. Very small. The earlier they are caught the better it is. My Vet was able to schedule him for today. While he is in we will do a quick dental.
Other than that he is doing amazing. He still is trying to warm up to Penny, but could do without her lol. He just avoids her and she is getting the hint :)
He eats well and plays a lot, we have 2 big toy boxes he has been exploring. A pug egg fell victim to him yesterday., It had to be de-stuffed and killed. Happens all the time around here. He loves all balls and wants them. Good thing we have a 100.

Meet Gus
Hi everyone.
Meet our newest handsome hunk Gus
He came in yesterday from Albany.
He is a big boy. About 28 pounds. Not fat at all, just well built.
He is 8 years old, but looks much younger. He has only one eye which only adds to his charm :), he had a disk issue which makes his gate a bit different.
He is also really vocal. We are not sure if it due to the changes or if he just likes to talk.
He loves to give kisses and sit in my lap to be close.
More later. :)
