Joey in His New Finery

Sporting his new collar, harness and leash. Looking good.

Things are going as expected. He does great in his crate, walks well on a leash,passes gas like a champ.
He is deaf, so we r working on hand signals. He does resource guard so that I'm going to look up for some help.I've been trying to get him to drop the toy for a treat and it works for a little while. You can't just take it from him that's for sure. And he isn't found of baths either.

He met all the dogs here shortly. Milly and Clara are not found of him at all and Silas makes me too darn nervous to let them together for long. So slowly but surely. He is very friendly and seems to like all people. More on this handsome boy later.

I just got home from vacation and look at the goodies for Joey. He is so excited to open every thing. Thank you all so much for caring about him.

Update on Joey

Just wanted to send along some pictures of a former foster. Joey was surrendered by an owner last summer (previous owner was sick and couldn't care for him anymore). We still see Joey on a regular basis - as a matter of fact his new mommy is due with his two-legged brother one month before me. She sent me these pictures recently.... just thought you might like to see him!! He is just the sweetest thing ever!!
