Looking for Someone to Adopt Tessie

Tessie had one owner her entire life, she has been loved and cared for. Her owner began a family and Tessie did not like taking a back seat to a baby. Also the owner must care for a loved one and could no longer give Tessie the attention she requires. Tessie just turned 7 this month, she thinks she is 2. She is a spunky, spirited girl that expects fetch regularly. She is not boring, she talks and tends to be quite expressive. She is a fun loving girl! She’s not fond of other dogs but she loves people, children and cats! She could learn to live with another very passive dog. It would be a lengthy adjustment period. Yaz hit the jackpot! I believe this 13 yr old, is the happiest girl in the world tonight, she asked awesome questions, the family was incredibly prepared, other than showing them how to clip his nails they really didn't need me! This is Tessie, Yaz and Tessie are bio siblings! 7yr old Tessie loves to fetch a tennis ball and does not do well with other dogs, she's got a bit of energy and some skin allergies. She is sweet loving, gives plenty of kisses, spayed, house broken and crate trained. (pastuszm1@cox.net) Yaz & Tessie are a pair but not dependently bonded they could be adopted together or separate.

Welcome to NEBTR fosters Tessie and Yaz.  Fantastic foster mom Conni Varano has opened her heart and home to this duo, and her friend Maria Pastuszak writes,

"Tessie(7 in March) & Yaz(7 in Nov.) Bio siblings, arrived in Meriden CT at my BFF Conni's house Saturday. Tessie is an alpha crazy for all the attention. Her skin is a complete mess, it will take some doing but we'll get her on track. We are told Tessie is not good with other dogs but we will test that further. Yaz seems to only get worked up is he sees Tessie react, he is a passive boy that follows her lead, he has an under bite that gives him a bulldog look he is incredibly handsome and sweet as can be. Both approx. 20lbs, they know where to potty, love their crates and they do nothing wrong. They never accepted the 2yr old human and remained gated where Tessie would scream and that was no longer working in an apartment. Yaz needs to be re-tested as he just had lyme disease and took meds. Conni reports they are angels that do not do any wrong."
