Kirby

Hi everyone,

Kirby's fosters here and we just wanted to give you all a little update on how he's doing. After a food change due to a chicken allergy (amongst other things), and a trip to the vet for his allergies, he is starting to feel so much better!!

Kirby loves to play with his toys and go for walks. Although, he needs a bit more guidance and training with some basic commands, he is also showing a lot of improvement. Here's a some photos we've taken of this little fur baby throughout the week :)

Adopt Kirby

Remember Kirby, the puppy who came to NEBTR with parvo from a shelter?  Look at him now!  Thanks Maria and Renata for second chances!

Awesome video. He is such a happy boy.
To think of where he came from to now is just amazing.
My Jaxx (GSD) also overcame parco and is a happy & healthy 9 months now. We are blessed.

Oh my gosh - look at him!!!!  I'm tearing up at seeing how happy and healthy he looks compared to the scared, sick little guy I picked up from Cynthia a few weeks ago!!

Kirby Has Parvo and Needs Your Help

Little Kirby is very sick.

Kirby was called "Dip Stick" and left at a local shelter last week, very thin, testing positive for Parvo and Mange at the young age of 9 months. NEBTR volunteers picked this little guy up and rushed him to the hospital.

The doctor feels that he is now beginning to feel the effects of the Parvo. That means he will need intravenous medicines and fluids because he isn't keeping them down with vomiting.

There is no way of predicting how Kirby is going to respond to treatment. The doctor explained that dogs have come in on death's door, and survived. Others that were glowing with health until the Parvo set in succumbed to the disease.

NEBTR wants to give this little man a new start. A new name, Kirby, and a healthy sound body.  Please help us get Kirby started on the road to a new and better life.

Please consider donating to help with his vetting fund HERE
