Brady is Adopted

Hi Everyone,
Our last foster Brady was adopted on November 2nd right before we left on vacation.  Kim and Mike Yost, their two sons and their little Boston Bailey were so happy to add him to their family!  Kim is a NEBTR member who did a Thirty-One fundraiser for the group.  She reports that Brady is settling in nicely!  Congratulations to the Yost family!

Thank you,
Pam Hess

Kim writes:

Thank you Pam for taking good care of Brady before we could adopt him!
He is settling in very well...the boys love him and our other Boston
Bailey is getting used to not being king of the house, lol! They have
actually just started cuddling on the couch together :-) Brady is full
of energy and such a sweet boy, I can't believe anyone would let him go.
He is housebroken and has pretty good manners, he listens well (sit,
down, drop it, stay) and calms down quickly when we need him to. We are
working on the chewing, but it's not too bad as long as we keep an eye
on him. He is still young, so I expect that to improve over time. We had
to take our other Boston to the vet last week so we brought Brady as
well, she thinks he is just barely 2.

Here are some pictures of Brady settling in at our house! He is making himself right at home :-)

Meet the Newest Football Fan

"Just a quick update on little foster Brady named after the best quarterback ever, Tom Brady!! (we're big Pats fans) - we picked him up last Thursday from the shelter and he was stinky. We gave him a nice bath and trimmed his nails. He's a sweet 2 year old brindle boy with a ton of energy! He's doing great.. no accidents in the house, he's crate trained and he's a great eater. He needs some work on his manners because he gets so excited when he meets new people and he pulls real hard on his leash. He went to the vet for what turned out to be a cold and not kennel cough (yeah!). He's very healthy and will be ready for his new home within the next few weeks!"

Thank you, Pam, for caring for Brady and getting him prepared for his forever home!

New Foster Brady

I picked up Brady from the shelter.  He is an adorable two year old brindle, he weights about 20lbs.  He was picked up as a stray so I have no history on him.  He got a nice bath last night because he smelled like the shelter.. yuck.  He definitely has the energy of a 2 year old...  He needs some work on his manners, he's a little jumpy and nippy but he's also a snuggler.  I'm afraid he has kennel cough, he's been hacking and sneezing..  I'm going to bring him tonight to my vet tonight to get his check up.  I'll keep you updated on this adorable little guy.
