Caius is Adopted

Ciaus was adopted last night ! His name is now Winston :) He is Living in PA and has a wonderful new mom and dad. He is the only dog so he will be showered in love and attention which is perfect for him. He always needs to be the center of attention!

Caius Reciperating From Surgery

Ciaus had surgery yesterday to remove his cherry eye. Everything went well with the surgery. He has to go back on Tuesday for a recheck and he's getting an ointment in his eye two times a day. I was in the conference room talking to the vet about his surgery and when the vet tech brought him into the room he jumped on top of the coffee table and right into my lap! He knocked everything off the coffee table but we all just laughed at him ! He is going to be adopted next week by Mercedes Kemery, who is a wonderful match for him. Here is a picture of him recovering from surgery and his foster sister Ember taking care of him!

Caius Wants a Family

New Foster Caius

I picked up Caius last night from the humane society of Easton, PA. He looked so sad sitting in his crate. As soon as they released him from the crate he ran over to me and showered me with kisses. We had an hour drive home, and I didn't hear a single sound from him. He explored the house and seemed curious of everything around him. He went right outside and used the bathroom...no accidents so far! We leash introduced him to the other 4 dogs in the house and he did wonderful. His tail was wagging the entire time and he was was giving them all kisses. We left him in the dining room separated from everyone and he whimpered a little then settled down. He is a very active boy, definitely acts like he's 3. I made an appointment at our vet next week to have his cherry eye examined. Will update more as he settles in!
