Gidget Goes to the Rainbow Bridge

Another piece of my heart is gone. I'm so thankful that the last years of her life were spent with me. She was one of the sweetest, toughest dogs I've ever known and she fought a good fight. Run free sweet Gidget and chase those balls again

Gidget Says Merry Christmas

Gidget wanted to say happy holidays to her NEBTR family!
As you can see she didn't want to be part of the group photo so she got her own special photo spot on our Christmas card.

Happy holidays everyone!!!

Patsy and Gidget Got Gifts

I came home from work yesterday to find several boxes for Patsy & Gidget at my front door.  They were so excited to  see all of the great things that some amazing people sent them.  They loved everything!  I'm attaching a couple photos of them playing with their new toys & one of Patsy wearing her beautiful new collar.  We want to thank everyone who sent the girls gifts. Thank you!

Adoptable Pups Wishlist! PATSY & GIDGET

Please help me in welcoming new fosters Patsy and Gidget, who were both lovingly taken in by one of our wonderful foster moms, Melanie.
Gidget is 13 years old, but certainly doesn't act her age! She loves playing with toys and chewing, so she put a few choice items on the list.
Patsy is a smaller girl and has not known a lot of care in her life. She is super cute as you can see, and Melanie says she makes a scrunched up little face when she gets excited. She did not come to foster care with anything - not even a leash.
Let's show these girls some love and support... they will be adoptable soon!!

Meet Gidget

Gidget is a 13 year old girl.   Gidget does not act her age.  She loves to play tug of war with my dogs & loves to play fetch.  She has a few medical issue but they don't slow her down at all. She's such a lover & fits in so well with my family.

Patsy and Gidget say Thank You

The girls got Easter baskets today.  Patsy was scared of hers so I couldn't get a pic but she enjoyed a couple of the cookies a lot!  Gidget dug right into her basket!

New Fosters Patsy and Gidget

Gidget is a doll!  She doesn't act like she's 13. She loves to play & chew on toys.  She stays close to me & slept quietly all night.  She has a large mamory tumor. Her previous vet said at her age he didn't want to put her under to remove it.  It doesn't seem to bother her at all.  It's obvious she was very loved by her family.  She's quite a sweet old lady.

Patsy is also very sweet. She likes to chew on the cow hooves I bought for them but doesn't seem to know how to play It's pretty obvious she didn't spend much, if any, time in a home.  She's a bit skittish when you go to pet her but comes around quickly.  She's got a fun personality & makes a cute little face by scrunching up her nose when she's excited.

Thank you so much Melanie for opening your heart and home to these babies!
