Update on Baby Belle - Watch Her Now!

Recently I was dog sitting one of my former fosters, Belle (now called Baby Belle). She was surrendered from a shelter in August and was in really bad shape and needed a very expensive double luxating patella surgery. Thanks to the hard work of everyone who works so hard all year round to raise money for NEBTR we were able to pay for the surgery. After a few months of TLC and a long recovery she spent her first Christmas in her new adoptive home. I've attached pictures the day she was released from the shelter and another during her recovery. Belle's New Life

It’s official, Belle started her new life and went to her new forever home today! She was the little girl who had double luxating patella surgery in September. She will be the complete and total center of attention in her new home and they couldn’t be happier with her.  She will even be able to go to work with her new dad to his studio since he is a self employed photographer. Belle absolutely loves meeting new people so she will be in heaven. It was thanks to all the donations we received that we were able to give Belle this new life and pay for her surgery. Even though she is feeling great she will always have two scars on her knees that will always be a reminder of the life changing surgery that NEBTR was able to provide.

Update on Belle's Surgery

Belle had her double luxating patella surgery today and everything went as planned and she came through like a champ. She is really hopped up on some heavy drugs and still waking up but she should be just fine. Tonight she'll be sleeping at the vet's office so they can continue to monitor her overnight but tomorrow she'll be back at her foster home resting and recuperating for the next six to twelve weeks.
