Update on Tootsie, Now Lucy

I wanted to pass along an update on Lucy (aka Tootsie) so that you could hear how she's doing and maybe pass it along to your blog people as an update.  Attached are some photos as well!

I can't believe it's been 5 months today since we picked up Lucy at your house.  She is such a friendly, sweet and happy girl!  She is certainly a wild child as well...afraid of absolutely nothing.  The complete opposite of our first Boston, Simon.  It took a bit of time, but Simon and Lucy get along pretty well.  Some days, Lucy can be quite annoying to Simon, but he puts her in her place, which is always funny to see. 

Lucy did her Level 1 training class at dog school, and she did very well.  We would love to teach them both how to play flyball, but unfortunately there aren't any places near us.  But don't worry, they get plenty of play time!!

Lucy has made lots of puppy friends too!  We go play nearly every evening with our boxer friends down the road, and as the only girl, Lucy gets LOTS of attention from the boxers.  She loves to stand by the fence watching for bunnies and squirrels so she can bark and cry at them.  We also go to Boston Terrier meet ups with Boston Terrier Lehigh Valley and both Simon and Lucy love hanging out with their own kind.  Such a great group of people...if anyone wants to come out to meet ups, direct them to the Boston Terrier Lehigh Valley Facebook page.  They just had their Halloween meet up this past Sunday, and Lucy won for cutest costume as Batgirl. 

We absolutely adore Lucy and are so glad we were able to bring her into our home. 

Tootsie is Doing Great

I heard from Tootsie, now Lucy. And they are doing great.

Tootsie is Adopted

Miss Tootsie was adopted today by a fantastic family! Heather and Kyle Woll and their Boston Simon. They are great dog people. Tootsie and Simon got along great too. Good luck my little Toots.

Adopt Tootsie

This is Tootsie a super sweet 10 month old spayed female. She is very active, loves to play with toys and loves all other dogs. She is house trained and crate trained. When she isn't playing she likes to sit on your lap and give lots of kisses. She is fantastic on a leash and listens well.

 

She is learning her basic commands. And loves to jump in the tub. She also flirts with the neighbors Boston. She is a funny girl with lots of energy. She will make a wonderful forever friend.

Miss Tootsie is a 10-month-old beautiful, spunky puppy. She loves to play with other dogs and go on walks. She is great on the leash. She is totally house trained. We are working on some manners, sit, stay and shake. She is very funny to watch run in the yard but also likes to sit on your lap for kisses.

Update on Tootsie

Well my wild child is still that,  but she is really getting into the routine here. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She LOVES to play with everyone. She pushes Silas to the end of his rope. He let's her know it. Which is also something I'm proud of him for. Time. Knock on wood. He has been very good.

 

Back to Tootsie, she walks great on a leash,  we walked w a harness and I was very impressed. She loves to run and play, the more the better for all of us. She is perfectly house trained. And when she sits still she gives kisses and likes to cuddle. Good girl.

More on Tootsie

Tootsie is doing great. I let her meet Dink and Sadie; they are my easiest doogies. Well I think they are in love. They have played non stop. She likes me to hold her and is very affectionate. She is a jumper, but listens great to correction. She is a good girl.
