New Foster CeeCee
Someone is happy to be in the arms of NEBTR. :)
That is so sweet! Poor girl has probably wanted this her whole life.
That says it all. It doesn't get much more heartwarming than that.
More on Ozzy
Ozzy went hiking over the weekend despite having the ulcer on his eye. Nothing holds him back! He loves to explore. He has had a week of antibiotics and his ulcer has healed nicely. He had a specialist visit today that unfortunately showed his pressure in his right eye to be elevated - despite the eye drops. They added a new drop to his regime and he needs to be seen back in a couple weeks. If the drops quit working - we'll have to consider surgery. 😢 (His vet costs are soaring.)
Brave little man. He's such a good boy at the eye doctor. He's so friendly with all the other animals and all the people! He loves to socialize.
Here's some pictures from our last couple days.

Saint is very loyal to me. RoseBud favors my husband.
Both are wonderful loving pups.

Send Good Well Wishes to Gus
Gus had his MCT removed today. His surgery went well, no issues like last time. I'm so relieved.
He is home. And resting.

New Foster TJ
TJ arrived to us on Saturday evening. He is a happy guy. Friendly and loves to give surprise kisses! He is a bit on the hearty size and has a lump under his right eye. As soon as he arrived we had to change our plans a little and rearrange because it didn't take us long to find out he is a super jumper! Somehow he scaled a 4 foot gate we had in his room! He is really strong and needs some practice on walks because he pulls like he is a big mastiff! So far he is a great pup that was just not getting the attention he needs. When he is ready he will make someone an awesome companion!! We already nicknamed him sweeTJ because he really is a sweetheart!

More on Joey and His Medical Condition
Joey is a very spunky boy that has no idea anything is wrong. He is a real kissy bug, he loves car rides and I believe he is a true professional when it comes to begging. He looks away when he wants to pretend he does not hear you and he will whimper when he wants your attention. We have a specialty hospital that will be meeting with him tomorrow at 9:30am. They have already reviewed his photos and records. We are not sure what will be recommended but I thank God NEBTR is willing to give him a chance! Diagnosis and prognosis aside, this boy has an incredibly strong spirit!
We are praying for the best outcome!

More On Frank
Is
settling in nicely. Tomorrow makes 1 week with us. He will turn 10 May
17th. He does not act or look his age. He went to the vet yesterday and
got checked out. My vet could get over his incredible manners and
mellow attitude. Frank is going to make someone very happy. He knows
sit, down, paw , fetch and does high 5's! Little people make him nervous
, so a home without young children will be necessary for his continued
happiness.
Also loves the ball!
More on Frank to come. So far he has been a gem.
