More on Patsy

I picked up Patsy on 6/15.  She was emaciated and had extremely dry skin.  Patsy is 14 1/2 years old.  Her former owner passed away last November and she was forced to remain in the home without any human contact for the past 6 months.  She remained on her own....lonely and most likely mourning the loss of her owner.

Miss Patsy was attacked by two pitbulls in her own back yard this past May.  I don't know how she survived!!!  She has a strong will to live and she now deserves the best life possible!!!

During the first four days, she was in a lot of gastric pain. She is now pain free, well rested, well fed, and is showing a playful side of her.

Bless the seniors...they are not throw away dogs!!!!

Thank you so much for taking her in, Patti. It takes a special kind of person to do this.   Bless you Patti, for taking this girl in and showing her love.We have a real soft spot for the senior dogs. Although we can't fix the past, we can control the future and hers is definitely looking up and will be much brighter.
