Well last week we had a minor setback with Louie's eye
again, and he had to go back to wearing his cone for a bit. That bummed
him out pretty bad. This week he found out that his foster brother McCoy
is going to be moving out, which at first he was excited about, (McCoy
is WAY too energetic for him!) but later after thinking about it was
sort of sad. Yet another dog moving on, and Louie is still waiting.
He
has been with us since March, and has made some major changes in life.
He has overcome skin infections (nearly lost his toenails to it), has
been fighting to heal from a persistent eye ulcer, has graduated from
training class, learned to trust strangers, learned to "shake" the Vet's
hand, saw another eye specialist, learned he loves home made sweet
potato chips, and seen Roxy, Wade, and now McCoy get adopted while he
still waits. He is starting to wonder if there is someone out there for
him...are you out there?
Someone with a quiet home looking for a solid
friend and home defender? Someone with time to spend with him teaching
him and showing him gently how to be a family member? Louie promises to
help keep you in shape with endless games of fetch, and keep you warm
against the cold nights in your bed. He will tirelessly keep watch
against home invaders, keep you safe, and fill your days with smiles.
Please consider Louie. He is looking for that one perfect someone who
just "gets" hom. Is it you? Please dont wait if you think it could be
love, apply today!
If you aren't his One and Only, that's ok too. You can
still show him you care by sending him something from his wishlist.
Let's help cheer Louie up :)
Thanks!
Erin
