Wilbur

Wilbur is a sweet but grumpy old man!  He loves being petted and cuddling but not being handled.  We went to the vet to have his teeth and legs checked and he was angry!  They couldn't check his teeth but found that he has a neurologic deficit and the legs aren't right. They don't bend straight up, but out and up. So probably a birth defect and explains why there is no muscle back there and his front is built up. Today I took Wilbur to a fundraiser event for a k9 police dog vest. Attached a pic of him, he had on the "adopt me" bandana. He was a good boy accepting pets and treats.  There were a lot of dogs there and he wasn't bothered.  I was proud!
