Walter White and Mum
Molly Secret Weapon!
Molly doesn't play fair! Armed with her secret weapon, the sad face, I always need to stop anything I'm doing and give her cuddles. Oh she looks innocent but this girl is a master of manipulation.

New Fosters Abbott and Emma
Last Tuesday I picked up my first foster pups, Abbott & Emma. We've had a whirlwind of a
week, but we're all starting to settle in to our new normal.
Abbott is a 7 year old Boston Terrier - he has severe allergies which turned into a pretty bad skin infection. So we're working on getting that under control. But he's super affectionate and has such a sweet face.
Emma is a 7 year old Puggle, who also has pretty bad allergies. We call her the Pokey Little Puppy because she does everything at a very slow pace.... We're starting to get her constant scratching and chewing herself under control and we're doing short walks to get her into shape (even though Abbott ends up pulling her along most of the walk).
They've already gotten used to our schedule - getting up a little before the alarm (we're going to have to work on getting a few "snoozes" in!) and going to their leashes when it's time for their regular walks. They even seem to know bed time already. It's amazing how quickly they adjust. They've already brought light into our home and I think once they're ready they'll be a great addition to a forever family!
I really would like to keep them together - they've been together their whole lives. Abbott might be okay on his own but Emma goes nuts whenever she can't find Abbott!
Deanna Burroughs
Deanna, it sounds as if you are a natural at fostering. Thanks for fostering them. It takes a special person to foster :-)

Thanks to Cypress Farm BTs for the Donation
Thanks so much to Cypress Johansen on FB (of Cypress Farm BTs), go to their page and look for the Donation Time post. Jennifer Hanly nominated NEBTR for a $250 donation and we were rescue which gathered the most votes and earned the donation from Seneca and Briar's litter. Thanks for nominating them Jennifer Hanly! And thanks again to Cypress Farm BTs.
New Foster Zoey

Joey Goes to the Rainbow Bridge
My past foster has gone to the bridge. Joey was deaf but that
didn't stop him. He was adopted by Kathy Malloy. He had been having
breathing problems and a cough. The vet found a mass by his heart and
a collapsing trachea. Last night he got worse and they rushed him to
the emergency vet and he passed away. Needless to say she is devistated
and heart broken. He just turned 12. Sad day.
Jill
Jill,
I am so sorry to read about Joey. My thoughts and prayers go out to
Kathy and her family, as well as to all of the NEBTR volunteers who
brought Joey to a better place to live out his life filled with love and
caring. Thank you for fostering him, Jill.
Rest in peace, run free Joey….

Adopt Patti
Patti is a 13 year old BT who is searching for a home with no children and a submissive dog or no dog home. She is the sweetest old lady who loves snuggles and lounging around. Apply online at nebostonrescue.com to adopt her!
Amanda Unger
Ivy Is Adopted
Ivy has been adopted by an incredibly loving family. This special family will love, train and spoil Ivy for many years to come. Thanks to NEBTR, Ivy has a second chance at a great life! Ivy is spayed, and her patella is healing fabulously. As always it's an honor to work with this amazing group!
Great job team!
