So my daughter and I were sitting in the dining room eating dinner. All of a sudden, Gila jumps on the chair next to my daughter and just sits there staring at me! So much to love about Gila!

Hi Everyone,

Gila came to us on August 1st. She was surrendered due to her mom and dad not having enough time for her.

She was friendly but had no desire to be near me. I gave her all the space she needed and I would constantly talk to her and praise her and as the weeks passed she slowly let her guard down.

At first she would sit like 5 feet away from me. She would even run away from me when I would say her name. Then she started sitting like 3 feet away from me. Over the past few days she has started cuddling with me on the couch.

Gila and I would like to thank Courtney for the beautiful blanket she sent Gila. As soon as I opened up the blanket, Gila hopped right onto it!

One of Gila's favorite things to do is curl up on the couch with her blankie. I am sure this blanket will become Gila's favorite blankie in no time.

Thank you so much Courtney for taking the time to make this blankie for Gila. I appreciate you thinking of her. Please give Zoe and Brode kisses from us for "testing" out the blanket before it is shipped.

Good Night From Gila

Hi Everyone,

It's me, Gila, and I just wanted to say hello. I've been in my foster home since Monday and I'm still wondering why I am here. Some days I am not happy and I bark at my foster mom to let her know how I am feeling. My foster mom keeps telling me that everything is going to be okay but right now I'm still a little stressed out. I let my foster mommy pet me a few times and that made her very happy but I'm not ready for any hugs and kisses yet.

I'm getting ready to go to bed and I hope everyone has a good night.
