Dearest Dotty Honoring Chum - Everyone Please Help Out

Please take a moment to read the last posting on Dearest Dotty's Page!
We met through Dobby, she adored him. A real rescue warrior. She helped pull and transport with Cindy Clark for BTRET, NC Branch. We are listed on her Caring Bridge in lieu of flowers and her partner has us listed in her will. These are real NEBTR bostie lovers! Ana(Chum)Kimsey is watching over bosties from heaven.
Please click and see Dotty's Memorial Tribute! - Maria and Dotty

From Dearest Dotty:

$1.00 For rescue in honor of Chum.
Ana(Chum) Kimsey a beloved rescue warrior joined the spirit world yesterday. Cancer may have claimed the lives of Dobby and Chum but will never have their souls. Chum recently said, "the love from our dogs is the purest love of all." Dobby traveled to meet his special friend in NC last year.
It was a magical visit that joined hearts and connected families. We will meet again in heaven, just beyond the bridge. We lub you Chum!
All donations will go to NEBTR to help save lives one paw at a time. Send $1.00 to Chum C/O Dearest Dotty, 15 Puritan Lane, Newington, CT 06111, sympathy cards will be given to the family. Chum is one of us, her passion will forever be paws! Let's show Chum's family how much we support her passion! Many thanks to all our special friends! I lub you, oohuggies!

Miss Jenna Goes to the Rainbow Bridge

Our sympathy to Elly Monfett and family on their loss of Miss Jenna.  Elly writes, " Jenna was a NEBTR rescue. She made many trips to SUNY Ulster in the past few years as she was so quiet and patient. She allowed all us students practice ultra sounding , TPR's restraint and handling etc. Most of the vet tech program knew her by name and asked about her welfare when she was not there. A Big hole in our hearts and home. RIP Jenna!!"

Thank you Elly, for giving Jenna the best years of her life and for taking such wonderful care of her!

James T. Carnahan Sr. Memorial Fund for Medically Challenged Boston Terriers

Jim Carnahan Sr. left for the Rainbow Bridge on April 4, 2009. Mr. Carnahan is the father of NEBTR volunteer Barbara Carnahan. Through out his 81 years, he was a lover of all animals--birds, cats, ducks, dogs. His first passions were his family, baseball and German Shepherds. Later in his life, his passions also became Boston Terriers and Greyhounds, which he shared with Barb. His passion for the Phillys never wavered and they honored him with a World Series Championship this past fall.

Although Mr. Carnahan is no longer with us physically, we can all rest assured that he is greeting and loving each and every one of our precious pups that cross the Rainbow Bridge. They will all be greeted by a very handsome, 6' Irishman with a HUGE twinkle in his eye, a broad smile and a ready lap.
This fund is to honor his memory. All donations will go to our featured pups with medically challenging and expensive conditions.
