New Foster Petunia
I'll b getting this girl tomorrow to foster through NEBTR. She's 4 yrs old & was in a puppy mill. She has some frostbite damage, horrible teeth & had to have an eye removed from what I'm told but is apparently a total sweetheart. Her name is Petunia. Can't wait to meet her.

Awww sweet baby, thank you for fostering her, she will be so loved!!

Sadie Inspires Wedding Gift
As a thank you for the wonderful work you are doing rescuing Boston
Terriers in need, including our own adopted pup Sadie, my fiance Carey
Haber and I have donated money to your charity as our wedding favor. We
wanted to show a token of our appreciation for all the care you have
given to these great dogs. Without you we wouldn't have our beautiful
girl, Sadie.
Thank you for all that you do!

George (formerly Spot) Goes to the Rainbow Bridge
Hi
my name is Nicole Pinto we adopted Spot back in January. We
changed his name to George cause he was just such a
distinguished gentleman and goofball at times. He would wear his
green argyle sweater and look so handsome. This past Monday we
had to help him over the Rainbow Bridge. Although we only had
him for 9 months he brought so much joy and happiness to
everyone he met. We will miss him dearly but know he isn't in
any pain anymore.

Buster and Scooby Thank David Schillero
Wow I was so surprised to receive an item from my wish list so
quickly but very appreciative of the gift. I now have an easywalk
harness with a leash and the BEST thing is it's reflective in the dark.
With having to walk Buster and Scooby so early and it being dark still
at 6:30 it will be fantastic. Thank you David Schillero for the
fantastic gift. All my dogs send you lots of Kisses.

Adoptable Pups Spotlight! EDDIE and PEARL
Together,
wherever we go… Yes, we are BFFs - in your home, your bed, your yard, our crate, if you see one of us you can bet the other will be nearby: we are inseparable. We were tossed on the street together, with nowhere to go, no home of our own, but we survived by always protecting and caring for each other, we shared our fate. Then one magic day, we were saved, lucky us, and moved to a nice home with caring people. We are so happy that we don’t even mind baths or vets, just content with the love, attention, toys, and food.
We
even get along with the resident seven year old and her friends, she’s very gentle and understands dogs, and our mom lets us sleep with her under the covers too, we just love to cuddle up with Mom or her daughter.
We
love toys and playing with you, especially fetch or tug, happily run around the yard where we know we’re safe, and enjoy our treats, but we know to be quiet too. You see, we’ve learned not to bark, though we will whine a bit when you put us in our shared crate. And might get a little anxious when you leave for awhile, we’re concerned about not seeing our humans ever again since it’s happened to us before. But we respond well to treats, so we’re easy to train. And we’re both housebroken, though the male member of the team occasionally still marks his territory, it’s a guy thing, though getting much better about that.
But
Eddie sometimes tries to dominate the resident canine, not a good idea, and is very protective of Pearl, that’s what best friends forever do. And if Pearl gets nervous or scared, Eddie will come right over and lay on top of Pearl to protect her.
Because
we are so very close, we would probably be best as the only dogs in the house: we’ve learned to rely completely on each other and there may not be room in our hearts or our heads for a threesome or more, unless its people, we really love you all and want to be your pals.
So
if you have room in your heart and your home, we’d love to join you. Together.
xoxo,
Eddie and Pearl

Former Foster Dexter (now D'Jango)
My family and i went on vacation to Massachusetts this past weekend and were able to stop and visit our foster Dexter who now has the name D'Jango. He is doing great! Boy is he living the life! His new parents just adore him. He gets to go to work with them everyday and we got to see his space and it's awesome! He has his very own window ledge with a big fluffy bed on it right in mom's office! Tons of space to run and play! He has made many friends and is mom's door greeter at the office! Here are a few pictures from our visit.

game repeats. But tonight she won by grabbing both. Game set match Velvet!"

More on Po and Ty
Former Foster Pupdate;
Po laid down with Bill on day 1. They let us pick them up on day 2 without any problem. I think Bill may have some dog magic up his sleeve. Prior to this, they couldn't be picked up.
Photos below.
BTW, Po (smaller) is 3, Ty is 2.

Former Foster Vic - Update
Vic found his forever home last year. It was a perfect match. Today his
owner is celebrating Vic's birthday, he turns 10 today.
He writes "It's this little guy's birthday today. Thanks for being so
crazy, Vic."
Plans for today include taking him out for a canine birthday cupcake at
a local dog shop!
Happy birthday, Vic!

Foster Rosie and Penny Are Friends
Rosie didn't enjoy when a puppy came to live with us. However this is proof that there has been a change in their relationship :)
Lol. Penny is a growing girl. She has a good 10 pounds on Rosie.

Indiana Bones Gets a Good Medical Report
I got a call from the vet about an hour ago. He said the lab showed Indiana's mast cell tumor was a low grade 2 with clean edges, which means there should not be a recurrence at that site. The fact that it's a low grade is also good. Nothing more to do other than get stitches removed and keep in mind that he may be prone to develop another tumor elsewhere, so keep an eye out. We have an apt on the 28th to get stitches removed.

Milly Goes to the Rainbow Bridge
It is with a heavy heart, Milly passed away in her sleep at her new
home. Barbara let me know. She seemed just fine the night before. My
heart is broken for them and my son Alex who totally loved her. She was
in her forever home and was very happy. She loved playing with her toys.
Makes me so sad. :(
Rest in peace sweet Milly girl.

Adoptable Pup Spotlight! SCARLETT
Oh hi everybody! I heard you all were asking for me! Well here I am!!
My name is Miss Scarlett, and I'm a 2-year-old bundle of love, energy and girlish charm.
I am a sweet girl who loves attention (and don't I deserve it all?!)
I love car rides, chewing bones, playing catch and taking walks on my leash. I don't really like being left alone for too long, so I would do best in a home where someone was around all day, or I had another dog to play with.
Cats are not my thing, and I am a little too peppy for kids under 10. I also have some mild skin allergies, but my foster mom has been so kind to me and cooks for me. She started to incorporate regular grain-free kibble into my food this week, and so far, so good!
I am 17lbs. with a great physique and long, lustrous ears. Won't you consider adopting me? (wink wink)
