Buster Extraordinaire in His New Home
Here is a sort clip of Buster and his new sister, Missy after 1/2 hour. They got along right away. The hardest part was leaving the house when Buster tried to leave with us. Otherwise he had a ball the entire time we visited. He will be very happy.
Gale
Great job Gale! Looks like they will have fun together. You are a great foster mom, and you should be very proud of what you have done for him and knowing that this is the place that he should be.

Update on Foster Buster
Gale McLeish Vanselous:
Hi everyone from Buster! Buster had been our foster for only two weeks now and he has learned to lay down and stay, gets along with my female dog and is comfortable on leash with our one Boston. Buster will be seeing the vet soon. He is 8 years old and just a lover! He will make an excellent companion for someone. He loves other calm dogs and is not real high energy. He just want to be by your side. He loves the car too.

Buster Settles In
Buster had been with us for a little a week now and has settled in well for this time period. He has been co- habituating with our Border Collie mix, Daisy since day two and had met Bowie on leashes. They did fine so we will be continuing that for a while. My youngest gets aggressive and I can only do so much. Buster's biggest problem is that if he is not in the room with you he barks non stop and very loud. He is now eating better and now looks for some treats here and there. He did not eat at first and I cooked some chicken to stimulate his appetite. It seems to have worked. I want to have our vet check him soon. He has a small lump on his head (maybe a skin tag). He is an absolutely sweet dog!. Not highly toy motivated however. When he is with you he is very content to sit in the couch with you. We have started to crate train him. He hates it but is improving. He will probably be better in a home with no cats as he has started to chase them. He does accept no at this time and he will lay next to my cat but is not good if they move. I tried to send a video of him learning down but do not think it worked. I will send a picture once I upload it.

Thank you from Buster
Buster got a package just in time for Valentine's Day. He was very excited with the beef hide chips. This is only the second treat he has shown interest in. He took one and ran away with it. Here is Buster, sitting on command and waiting and then checking out the gift. Thank you NEBTR, Stacie Kyle, and all those who contributed to the foster gift packages.

More on Buster
It is his third day and now he is eating better, begging for table food, and tried to sleep in our bed last night. He is feeling more comfortable but wants to be out here and it is too early for that yet. He has met out cats and smartly ignored them. He and our calm Daisy (Border Collie mix) are doing fine. He does need some obedience but is very well behaved. Here are a couple more pics of the pretty boy. He won't be log without a home I am sure. He loves my hubby and follows him everywhere.

Put the bow tie on and he has he perfect tuxedo. Handsome handsome boy!
I think you're right he'll be scooped up too quick and good for him!
