Sarah and I want to thank Karen Bendall for all the wonderful gifts that arrived on Christmas Eve. Including the Smokehouse Natural Duck & Sweet Potato treats, the Nylabone dental chew, the 2 Elephant kong toys, the Pet Naturals Calming, the Adaptil collar and the spray. Put all this on top of what her Secret Santa sent her and she made out like a bandit.

Happy New Year from Me and Sarah, and Sophie, Jaxx and Baabee.

Sarah Makes Progress

I took these pictures of Sarah tonight when I got up from my computer and found her belly side up in her bed. She has been with me since 9/26 and this is the first time she has turned her belly up for some rubs. She has made amazing progress in the past 2-3 weeks and I am very proud of her.

Sarah Says Thanks for the Sweater

Today Sarah received this beautiful sweater in the mail, but unfortunately there was no card indicating who it was from. She wants to send a big thank you out to whoever it was. It will be just right for this winter weather we are about to experience.  Again, Thank you so much for thinking of her. She really needs some good winter clothes as her own coat is rather thin.

Sarah is Making Progress

We are making progress.  Finally….. I caught her initiating play with my 4 mo. Old GSD today. They are now best buds. I could not get a picture of them playing but I did get one of them curled up out in the sun right next to each other. Again …. She is a work in progress.  I just love this little girl.  Uh oh.

Sarah Loves to Snuggle

I just had to share these pictures with the group. I discovered today that Sarah loves to burrow under a blanket. These pictures showed her failure to actually get under the blanket but got enough of it over her head and she went to sleep. This is definitely a sweet little girl just in need of consistency, love and training.

And this is how I found Sarah this morning all rolled up in the comforter on my guest room bed. She has claimed this room as her own.

Sarah Says Thanks to Sara Puskar

A big woof wooftastic thank you to Sara Puskar for the Nylabone Dura Chew Bacon Variety pack. As you can see from the picture, the edible bone did not last very long. The other 2 are safe in her room in her own personal toy box which is filling up daily. She loves her new gifts and I am getting an unexpected benefit in that she is really starting to trust me and comes up to me for attention on her own.

Sarah Learns to Love

Look who’s letting mommy hold her after only 6 days. She came over to me on her own and literally asked to be picked up and held. She is finally trusting me. I almost cried. I don’t usually like to include pictures of myself but in this case it was necessary.
