New Foster Georgie

The very day after Spike was rescued,  NEBTR received a call that there was another urgent Boston at the Philadelphia shelter.  This shelter was beyond crowded, and Georgie was in danger.  He was also extremely stressed at the shelter.  Heather Coursen opened up her heart and home to him, and Georgie is safe now.

He had been given up by his family because they said they couldn't afford to keep him any more.

Heather writes,  "He's safe now and hopefully will settle in and be happy in a few days."  You are an angel Heather!

New Foster Spike

Spike is an 8 year old owner surrender who found himself in the Philly shelter.  The shelter was beyond full and he was at risk of being euthanized.  Fortunately, he found his way to NEBTR and Beth McFadden thankfully stepped up to foster and save him.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Beth!  She describes him as being a "charmer."
