Update on Ozzy

I apologize for not having an update sooner! Ozzy got a new foster brother 2 weeks ago so life in this foster home is a bit hectic! - Ozzy got his sutures out on Tuesday and he is healing wonderfully.  He received a prayer blanket on Wednesday.  He is basically back to his old happy self minus the having to share his human with his new foster bro (and even that he is taking in stride).

Guinness Goes to the Rainbow Bridge

Our deepest sympathy to Chris Schezzini on her loss of former foster Guinness.  After being fostered by her, Guinness lived the rest of his life being loved by Chris and family.

Chris writes,

"It was just a few hours ago I took these pics of my Guinness, and he jumped off the couch played w the cat( like he always did , )and played w Louie a little bit
We were watching tv
He went into the next living room and passed away
My heart is broken that I wasn't wiyh him,
I knew he has been very sick , but he loved life, and he never gave up , maybe he threw a seizure and I wasn't in their to help him through it.....my heart is very heavy tonite as I type this
He was seriously my best Boston terrier ever
He was my rescue , he was my big lug
Guinness mommy is so sorry I wasn't in there w you
Maybe I could of saved you
I'll never forgive myself
My heart is crushed, I will have a rough time getting over this, I love you my Guinness
Your mommy,"

Rhubarb, Now Henry, Is Adopted

Though it was extremely difficult (for me), Rhubarb (now Henry!) has a spectacular new home with my very dear friend Kathleen Nolan. So far she has told me he is *very* smart and "almost too handsome, like George Clooney." Henry is overjoyed with his fabulous new digs, MANY, MANY, MANY TOYS (Kathleen said he's a playful guy and needs a repetoire) and most important, his very own person that he doesn't have to share with anyone.

Say a Prayer for Rosie and Chloe

Say a prayer for these two beautiful girls. They were my first fosters with NEBTR. Rosie and Chloe are not feeling well. They were adopted by a angel Ana Isabel Lorenzo and they are so loved. My son Aidan totally fell in love with Rosie. Please keep them in your thoughts.

Update on Delgado in His Forever Home

Spoke with Becca Rodlin tonight and she and Scot are just thrilled with Delgado and said that Piglet loves him.   He is still a work in progress but he learns quickly. They had to hide their Ferrets for a while but now they are back out in the living area and he has been really good about that. (Beagle in him said attack!, attack! at first now he is calm). I miss him but he is in a great home.

Sully is Adopted

Sully was  adopted last weekend!  His Dad reports he is doing great and that he is a gem!  He said he lays at his feet while he works and has been good meeting people and doggy friends that visit.

We really love this boy and would of kept him for sure, but I would not be able to continue fostering. So many more in need!  I am so happy for him!

Here is a pic of Sully in his new home with Dad.

Leslie

Great news Leslie!
Nice job.

Update on Dooley in His Forever Home

Hi everyone. I'm just got an update on Doodle bug. :).

Hi Foster Mom Conny,
Dooley and I just wanted to say hi and hope your having a great summer. As Dooley loves my peach jam on his toast in the morning, he was wondering if you could let us know when the peaches are ripe for picking out your way. We had a great time picking at the place you told us about last year.

Dooley is doing great for a cranky old man. He is on predizone now for a dry cough, which has made his cough much better. He is a healthy 22 lbs. and still loves his babies, especially at bedtime. His cataracts have got pretty bad,but that hasn't slowed him down at all...he even does all the different sets of stairs in my house like a pro. sometimes he counts wrong and forgets that last step, but that doesn't even slow him down.
Thank you for bringing Dooley into my life, I love him dearly.

Adopt Kermit

>br?>br>

Kermit is a healthy 3 year old male rescued from Ohio. He has been in foster care for almost 2 weeks. He knows sit and how to give paw. He does well in a crate for short periods of time and will benefit from more training. He is learning to walk properly with a harness but will still pull here and there. Kermit's perfect home would have a strong leader who has the time to work with him, no small children, and no other pets within their home.

Tucker Goes Shopping in NYC

Tucker was surrendered because his owner experienced a tragedy in her life and as a result, had to work 2 jobs, leaving Tucker at home alone 15 hours a day. Because he was stressed, he was chewing and ruining everything so those hours became crated hours.

Fast forward to a month later. He took a little while getting the hang of the city since he was from the burbs but has made tremendous progress. His moms work from home 4 days a week and tomorrow, they are moving to a new apartment with a beautiful fenced back yard for Tucker to play. He is currently supervising the purchase of air conditioners for his new home.

Oh my, that is just priceless!!!!  What a lucky little guy!! - Joyce

Daisy Receives a Prayer Blanket

We wanted to send a big thank you to Colleen Sandbach who was so thoughtful and sent Miss Daisy a blessed prayer blanket.  It was such a kind gesture to know that even someone all the way from Oregon is thinking of our sassy senior here in PA. Thank you so much for the prayers, they're much appreciated especially when our sweetheart hasn't had the best of luck this past year.  Hopefully she will have no more complications and will be able to live a full, happy and loved life!

Thank you so much again from Daisy, her brother Winston, her foster siblings Lil Pumpkin & Miss Piggy, NEBTR and her foster parents ♡♡♡

Little Bit Says Thanks to His Amazon Angels

Little Bit got 2 things from his Amazon wish list this weekend but both came anonymously.  Hopefully the Thanks reaches you!!  He loves the new bed.  He was fast asleep on it all afternoon.  It is easy to get on and off, or lay half on and half off.  And he has even made friends with his new squeaky fox.  It is so soft he just likes to lay on it.  I knew he couldn't keep up with this tough guy act too long.  Thank you so much for helping us show this guy he is safe and loved!!

Kristen Peterson

Kristen,  Just had to write how gorgeous Little Bit is with his white face, white legs, and the marking atop his head ~ almost looks like a heart.  God bless, Little Bit.  Thank you for caring for this precious little fur kid.  Isabella

Tank/Benji Goes to the Rainbow Bridge

Our sympathy to Robyn Seeley on her loss of Tank.  He was given away for free at a yard sale and then quickly surrendered to us. Robyn's family took him in. He was suffering from
congestive heart disease and kidney disease.

RIP precious Tank.
Robyn - thank you so much for loving Tank.

Mackenzie is Adopted

Congratulations to Mackenzie, who has found her forever home with Cindy Metcalfe.  And thanks so much to Conny McGraw for taking such wonderful care of her!
