Pugs Goes to the RainBow Bridge

My sweet Pugs went to the Rainbow Bridge today after a bout of Pancreatitis. She was 12 years old. Our hearts are broken! RIP Angel baby. You will deeply missed!
I am devastated.  She fought with all she had.  RIP baby.

Oh no!  So sorry for your loss. She suffers no more;  only runs and plays.  Feel good about the life she you gave her - Loretta Butler

I'm so sorry, Linda.  Thank you for all you did for her. - Beth McFadden

Oh I am so so sorry Linda, Pugs was in my prayers as well as you…. The only problem with belonging to all of these boston groups is the sad sad news when one is lost like this  but then there is all the support and understanding from everyone who has them and have gone through the same. It breaks our hearts every time and never gets easier, ever! What keeps me going is knowing at the end they will meet us all at the bridge to be reunited. I just picture all the dogs that I have had in my lifetime up there playing with each other . My thoughts are with you and I'm sending you Hugs ! Evon

Linda I'm so sorry for your loss. Run free sweet angel. - Conny

Linda
I am so sorry to hear about sweet Pugs. For those of you who don't know, Linda took in both Pugs and Leah from a elderly man who loved them dearly but could no longer care for them. Linda drove and met him and promised him she would love them and do her best to keep them together. She kept them both and kept her promise. Even took in Harley, the blind deaf boy off Craig's list recently as well.
Linda, you are a true rescue angel.
Run free sweet Pugs

Forever Foster Pugs needs Prayers

Please pray for my permanent foster, Pugs. We rushed her to the Animal Hospital in Fairfield last night and she has been diagnosed with a case of pancreatitis. I did not think she was going to make it! I picked her up this morning and brought her to our vet, Dr. Cattiny, in Pompton Lakes. She is on pain meds and fluids and seems to be doing better. Please pray for her as she is not out of the woods yet!

Hoping for a speedy recovery for Pugs. How scary! Prayers from all of us to Pugs - great better soon.

Adopt Leia and Pugs

Leiah

Pugs

These two girls were an owner surrender.  The man's wife passed away and he is moving in with his brother and sister-in- law.  They had three dogs themselves and could not take these two beauties.  So the poor owner had to surrender them (after just losing his wife).  He was so sad about this and requested that they be fostered and adopted together so I agreed.  I am going to try and fulfill his wish and try to keep them together.  We all know what a great bond siblings can have!

Leia (1st Photo) She will be 4 in September and is a great girl.  She is potty trained and absolutely loves to play with toys.  I think that she would be a great candidate for being a dog that competes in agility.  She is high energy, although not hyper and just loves to play.  She is great with other dogs, people and kids and listens well.

Pugs (2nd Photo)  She is 12 years old and doesn't look a day over 8 (with the exception of a little gray around her eyes).  She is pretty mellow but loves to interact with my other dogs and particularly loves to go in my doggie pool.  She is hard of hearing and potty trained, and is in great health.  She has her own language she speaks when she gets excited and it almost sounds like she is speaking.  Other than that she is quiet and loves dogs, people and kids.

Both are in excellent health and UTD on their shots and will be a wonderful asset to anyone who has the love to give these beautiful babies!

New Fosters Pugs and Leia

Well they have arrived and they are quite a joy.  Leia is three and acts her age.  Pugsley is 12 and doesn't look a day over 6 except for a tiny bit of grey around her eyes.  Both are utd on all of their shots.  They are both spayed and truly enjoy each other's company, just like sisters do.  They have adjusted well and are both good with other dogs, people and kids.  Pugsley is a little standoffish until she gets to know you.  Leia will play as long as you want to play with her.  We have to try and keep these girls together.  The first two pictures are of Pugs and the next two are of Leia.  The  last one is of the both of them.

Thank you so much, Linda, for opening your home and heart to these beautiful girls!
