Duffy Is Adopted and Thanks His Santas

Good news for Duffy!  He was adopted before Christmas by Julie Strulson.  His foster mom Loretta Dolan wants his Santas to know that all his gifts went with him, and wants to thank everyone for their generosity.

Sunday Valentine thanks Secret Santa!

Sunday valentine here!

I decided to venture out of the little place that foster mama had shoveled out and explore the world, but all I found was snow. And more snow! When my paws got cold, foster mama came out and rescued me <3

Just wanted to check in with you. And I really want to thank my secret Santas Allye and Ellen!! I have lots of bones to chew on and I had a beautiful Christmas stocking. And mama is encouraging me to play with my toy! 

Mama will show you how happy I am with my new things and on my adventure!

Obee Thanks Santa

 

Obee had a ton of fun opening his Secret Santa presents from Carrie Cranmer, BreEnna and Don Balliro and a super-secret Santa who sent an awesome bed for our sweet old man. He can't believe his good luck -- so many great presents!

 Obee loves to be cozy, and thinks his two new Zack & Zoey coats are perfect for the too-cold weather we're having.

The toys were a hit -- and now he's lounging in style. Thanks, everyone -- and special thanks to temporary foster mom Laurie for bringing more presents when they arrived at her house after he'd come to us.

Pablo's Secret Santa

Pablo says thanks to Debra Costello, his Secret Santa.  We received a total of four boxes, not two, so thanks also to Santas Nicole Pollak and Mickey Lyons.

Thanks to your generosity, Pablo received a much-needed new bed, blankies, squeak toys, tug toys, and bully sticks - all of his favorites!!

He would not get out of his new bed when we took it out.  

We crate him at night or sometimes he gets up in the early morning and does a little tinkle, so we put his bed in the crate for him with his new blankies.  For the first time ever, he has started going into his crate on his own to lay down.

Miss Penny Boo!

Happy New Year everyone!

Please help me welcome Miss Penny Boo ! Santa brought us an unexpected Christmas gift. Little Penny is about 19.5 lbs and between 8 and 9 months old. She is very playful, cuddly and sweet. She has brought her shinny light into our lives. She is a breath of fresh air. Brady is playing now! Brady thinks he is human and playing with other dogs is not his thing.....now it is, he even shares his crate with her.

We wanted to thank both her secret Santas for their generosity. We have sent them a Christmas card but I did not save their names to post that Penny was the lucky girl receiving their generous gifts....she picked up the deer antler immediately and she loves the squirrels and and the sweater is perfect size. She loves the squeaky toys....she loved it all

As you see, she made herself right at home she is not afraid of men anymore and we still need to work on the fear of kids. Our grandson is wonderful with dogs and we will do short and slow introductions with lots of treats and walks (no touching for now)...she waits for me to finish breakfast to jump on my lap....its not easy to get the day started here... she is working on going outside to poop. In essence, she is a wonderful girl!I
