Letter From Gracie's Adopter (Formerly Cricket)

Hi Leslie,

 I just wanted to tell you the I renamed Cricket  to Gracie, because she was an answer to my prayer, to God, for a Dog that would be good for me.  I really wanted a puppy, but my knee operation stopped me from getting a puppy until I was able to handle training one.   My prayer was answered because she is perfect for me.   So sweet and loving.  A cuddle baby is what she is.  She gets along with Auggie and my husband loves her.  She is God's Grace to me.

I think  she gained some weight too.  Looks good.

Thanks for all your help getting her to me.  I hope you and your family are all doing well.

River Is Learning Sign Language

River is happy and playful! He knew the sign for sit and has learned come and down, working on stay. I have learned ASL signs and have been using them in regular conversation hoping he will catch on! He is very attentive to my hands. I sign good, yes, no, leave it, stop it, potty, walk, crate, sleep, treat, hungry?, eat, yay!, calm down, play.  Really hoping he'll learn so we can communicate better!
