Simon Gets a New Stocking

Simon, Formerly Buddy, In HIs Forever Home

Good Sunday morning!  I wanted to let you know Simon continues to improve. In addition to the Lyme disease, he also has a spinal injury. We are hoping it is just the fluid sack around the vertebrae and that will fix itself.  The vet diagnosed the injury high in his neck because of his limited range of motion. 

Last week, I took his collar off thinking that may be aggravating the area. Whatever the case, I noticed an improvement so I am letting him spend his days in his birthday suit. I put the harness on when we go i n the car or for an extended walk around the yard. 

I am so happy with his progress and wanted to share with the group that he is on the mend.

Simon Has a Facebook Page

Hi everyone; remember Simon from the Simon/Dolly duo? Well, looks like that little boy likes selfies and decided he needed a Facebook page! 

He has himself listed as Simon Peterson-Paduch, and mom Jill Peterson helps him. His account is new and he hasn't had a ton of photo ops but he is very into the selfie

Simon Thanks Santa

As you can see, Simon was practically in the box digging out his gifts from Santa.  The second picture shows him all decked out with his new bandanna on sitting pretty for a picture.   I think it's a sign that the sunlight is coming through just so he looks like a little angel.

Congratulations to Simon, who has found his forever home with his Foster Mom Mariah Elliott.  Mariah decided that Simon was too special to live anywhere else, so he will be with her for the rest of his life.

Simon sends slobbery kisses!  Foster Mom Mariah Elliott, who is lovingly caring for Simon, sends this report.  And wait until you see all the fantastic photos she took of him!  Who couldn't fall in love with this cutie?

"Simon is doing well :) here's a photo update. my niece visited recently and spoiled him with treats (she's his new favorite person). i got some goofy photos of him jumping for treats...
he's really photogenic. he has the most hilarious facial expressions :D
i've been fostering him for almost 4 mths now, and he's lost 4 lbs! which is pretty impressive. so he's looking pretty good.
also, we've figured out that he knows Sit, Down, Roll-over, and give-me-five. does he know any other tricks??"
