New Foster Smokey

 

 

 

Smokey came to us by wonderful transport member Kelly Boogard. He was initially very frightened. He was terrified to say the least. He is 30 pounds of big sexy. He loves the family. He is actually a very gentle soul who wants to please people. He is a beautiful boy with a bright spirit and although calm is very attentive and alert.

He is a love and we adore him.

Foster Archie Goes on Vacation

Archie had a recent visit to his vet and she was very pleased with his condition. He was down to 50 lbs and she said he looked 100 times better than the last time she saw him. So as a reward, Archie got to go on vacation!

He went with his foster family to their parents' house in New Hampshire. They live on a beautiful lake with a beach and two boats. Archie has been enjoying the fresh air and water. He went for a boat ride when his foster brothers went tubing and he also went on the party boat for a cruise on the lake. Grandpa bought the boys an ice cream and a frostie paw for Archie. He met his foster mom's sister's Puggle, Lilly and they got along great.

His foster mom Pam Hess writes, "Archie is a sweet, sweet boy. He is housetrained, gets along great with my Walter and Muno, walks wonderful on a leash, plays fetch (he'll even put the ball right in your hand), and shakes his paw." She thinks he is a great dog!!

New Foster Winston

Winston is a sweet little 7yr old Boston Terrier guy in need of a new home.  He came in to the Pottsville PA shelter when his owner had passed away. The nice people there contacted NEBTR and Winston was on his way to a new life.  NEBTR member Jess Casey helped him out, and he was so sweet that she decided to be his foster mom.  Thanks to Jess, and we look forward to hearing more about Winston.
