Brody is a 10 year old pup, who was found as a stray in New York City. He was taken to the Manhattan Animal Control Center, where he was discovered to have a perianal hernia.
This little man really needed our help. Tara Bruno pulled him from the shelter, and took him to Carolyn McCarthy at Kamp Kanine.
For everyone who works so hard at fundraising, this is why we need to do whatever we can to raise money. If not, then Bostons like Brody wouldn't have a chance.
He was diagnosed as having a bilateral perianal hernia. It is not a mass, but rather his organs pushing out. It is not painful and he is in good spirits despite the weight pulling at his hind end. He will be having surgery to remove this shortly.
