Maxy (Moo) Update and Video

I am so pleased with Maxy's progress. He is responding well to everything!
The antibiotics have cleared up his skin and ear infections and the coconut oil is soothing his skin and preparing it for the regrowth of hair.
His skin is now pink and warm. Just 2 weeks ago it was bright red, cracked, sore and ice cold.
His tongue doesn't hang out AS much as before and he is able to eat and chew food just fine.
I see a sparkle in his eye and his ears are in the normal position instead of way back. For the first week, his ears were flat against his head and he looked terrified constantly.
He still has a tendency to whine but much less and he can be soothed quickly.
I am now using the DAP collar and rescue remedy at night - thanks to Cynthia Kaiser!
I have cut his pain meds to just one half a tramadol at bedtime. None during the day.
I will also be steeping chamomile tea and adding to his water as a daytime relaxer.
He still wants to hump Chester but he knows he shouldn't and tries not to.
I am hopeful the neutering will help a lot!
Maxy Moo wants to live!

He does want to live. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him and showing him love and tenderness. Bless you, Kevin, Chester, Vivi and Flo. The after pictures will be extra ordinary.
What tender loving care, a warm home a soft touch and good food can do for the soul!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrIWtcJj_ZU
