Our Miss Birdie (on the left) joined our family one and a half years ago. It was a little bit of a rocky start, she was a wild girl, unsure of her place in our family and it was the middle of winter. With lots of love, reassurance and patience (and spring!) she grew more comfortable and started to feel safe and secure. She definitely keeps us moving and entertained. She knows her toys by name and loves to play with her brother Smidge who, by the way, is basking in his big brother status. She loves t o play High Five, chase her ball and frisbee, and go for walks and runs. We swam a little last summer and we'll go again this year. She absolutely loves to be outside. We are all madly in love with her and are so lucky that she found us. Thank you Wendy and Verne and NEBT!
