Ladybug's Transformation

 NOW

THEN

I just wanted to give everyone an update on Miss Ladybug. She had a teeth cleaning and a couple extractions on Friday. She also had a large lump on her stomach removed and a hernia repaired. She is like a brand new woman! She seems so happy and relieved. It's been hard to restrict her activity because she is so full of life now. We're waiting on pathology to see if the lump was benign or not. If everything looks good we'll move forward with getting her spayed.

Otherwise, she is such a doll. She gets along with other animals and does well with small children. Her house training is going really well. She has learned to alert us when she needs to go outside and has hardly had any mistakes in the past couple weeks. Her favorite toys are balls and she loves sucking on blankets. She's really well mannered and friendly. She is always giving my other Boston kisses.

This is a photo from when I first got her and one from today. She was underweight and missing most of her hair on her lower body. Her breath was really stinky. She has gained 5lbs and is a healthy 17lbs. Her hair has all grown back except for a spot on her tail. And her bad breath has completely cleared up.

It's a remarkable transformation.

Kelly, you are doing a wonderful job with her!  Victoria

So glad to hear of Ladybug's wonderful healing and transformation! It's so difficult when one of our four-legged friends is not doing well, it shows and they don't seem like themselves. But the path to recovery can be beautiful and heart-warming; their personality shines through again and you can see how the progress encourages them to keep getting better. I'd love it if you could write another update to let us know how Ladybug is doing. Keep up the great work, and lots of hugs and kisses to you both!
