Thanks to Amanda and Fenway
A HUGE Thank You to our very own NEBTR Volunteer and foster mom to Neiko.
Amanda writes:
We are currently fostering Neiko. Yesterday I went to Petco and found a whole bunch of toys that were only a dollar brand-new so I purchased all of them and I was hoping to send them to you so that way you could put them in the new foster packages. The package is on it's way! Here's some pictures. Our BT Fenway helped with the packaging!!
Wow Amanda!! We can't thank you enough! Our new fosters will love the toys and a very special Thank You to Fenway - handsome boy!

That was so nice of you because our fosters deserve so much!!! We do not always know the story behind them or what they have been through a single toy can make such a wonderful difference to them. I swear it's as though they know the toys are for them and they will head straight to there crate to hide it. Thank You!!!

Harry is Adopted
Hello All --
Harry was adopted on Friday night; he'll be living with his new dads, Lane & Steve in Brooklyn.
Harry had a close call at the shelter before he got into rescue; Myrtle's awesome foster mom Carrie Cranmer pulled him from the Camden, DE SPCA the day he was scheduled to be put down.
Harry had suspected ringworm and a bunch of other ailments when he got to us, but good food & lots of love (and some antibiotics & medicated shampoo) made all the difference.
Harry will have a Boston brother, Oscar, and be a well-loved family member -- a far cry from being a stray in the shelter.
Yay for rescue --

Hooray for Harry-much happiness to all!
Your second chance at life is going to be an awesome one! Enjoy your new life!! And special thanks to Erin and Katie, who did a great job in getting him ready for his forever home!

Byron Says Kiss Me
Byron had a teeth cleaning yesterday. He did great! He had a few
extractions and did have a fractured tooth. (Poor little man) didn't
seem to affect him very much, he wasn't groggy or in pain and has been
bopping around like any other day.

Update on Glory
Thank you all for the fine gifts,
but the resident dog, Abigail, assumes that all toys entering the condo
are for her use only so Mom has put my new toys in storage for my future
home.
Mom's having problems taking photographs because Abigail keeps getting in the way, but we're working on it, doesn't help that Mom is not so good with pictures.
By the way, I am available for adoption, but it's hard finding a good home when you're seven years old and have the minor imperfection of missing an eye. But I'm a laid back, good-natured gentleman, not demanding or aggressive, and would love to have a home of my own and my toys.

Update on Mr. Belvedere
Mr. B. is a permanent foster because he was 10 yr old and had a congestive heart issue. My Vet prescribed medication to reduce the fluid around the heart. We weren't sure how much longer he would live so rather than adopt him out with his health condition only to live another 6 - 12 months, we, my husband and I, thought we would care for him, make the last months of his life good.
WELL.....four and yes that is 4 years later, Mr. B is still with us and has more energy than the fosters I have that are 2 and 4 years old!!!!! Mr. B LOVES to jump through the sprinkler and bite it as water comes out. Snot from his nose flying every where. LOL I'll have to take video and post it. I can't even water flowers in the yard if he is outside!
AND he is now 14 years old, yes, 14 years old. I swear he is going to out live me!! Mr. B is the most loyal dog I've ever had the pleaser of being owned by. Just love the old coot!

Max and Lacey Say Thanks
i am going to try and post pics of the gifts the fosters got in the mail. but for some reason, I always seem to have trouble.
I just want to say thanks for the generosity!! These gifts are awesome!!
Thanks
to Sharon Culp for the cute pink rain poncho, Rachel Ray dog food, and
the organic coconut oil. She also got treats for Lacey!! (if I missed
something, I am sorry there was just so much stuff!!)
Thanks to Susan Mason for the Rachel Ray dog food, small crackle ball toy, and the braidz bear dog toy. ( I assume these were for Lacey?? It didn't specify who it was for). But they both thank you!! ;)
Also
Thanks to a local FB friend, Shelly Reese, who saw Max's list and got
him him a life preserver, pet bowl dish set, (she got a dish set for Lacey too!!) and some toys! OMG!! These doggies are spoiled!! (as well
they should be right??)
OH!!! Shelly also donated to Max's you caring fundraiser!!
One
more gift came today, but I don't know who sent it, no packing slip was
inside, but Lacey got herself her very own, brand new crate!! She has
already slept in
it! so this week has been A M A Z I N G for gift for the babes. and I can't thank everyone who got something for Lacey and Max 2!! You are all
angels in our eyes!!
WHEW!! I think that's everything, ifIi missed something or someone please let me
know. i do want to thanks everyone. I try to save all the paperwork
that comes in the boxes, but sometimes it does'nt come with anything.
I
tried to take a picture with Lacey and her gifts, but she was less than
cooperative. she doesn't sit still!! Max was sleeping outside!!

Neiko Went to Petco
We took Neiko to the vet tonight just to check up on his eye. The vet thinks it looks good and we just have to continue with the same routine! He was such a good boy at the vet that we took him to Petco for a little present when we were done. Here's the pictures from his trip today!

Rosie's Favorite Toy
This is Rosie's favorite toy. It is not to be harmed.
She will just suckle on it until she falls asleep. It is so sweet.
