Today is Buster’s 9 year gotcha day. When we got him Dr Washburn our vet said he was between 2-4 yrs old. He was traumatized, badly abused by someone and very anxious. He has carried the scars of the evil things that someone had done to him for life. He is of course much better but to this day he freaks out at the sight of a fly swatter. We have loved him since the first moment we saw him. He is our sweetness and we will love him forever. The only stipulation that the lady who gave him to us had was that we never give him back... I assured her we would not. We think she saved him from someone who had badly abused him although what she told us was that his owner got sick and could not handle him. There was a whole lot more to the story ... He was very traumatized when we got him. If you raised you hand up quickly he would run and hide under the table and cry and cry then he would hold up his foot like it hurt... He did that for about a year after we got him. We can't change his past but we have worked very hard to make sure his life with us is the best that it can be. He is our sweetness and we will love him forever.. ♥ ♥ ♥
