So Renzo has been living with me almost a week now and he is settling in nicely and his true personality is coming out. I have taken to calling him "Little Nugget" because he is just this little nugget of cuteness! He is a very lively, energetic pup (but hey, he is still young!) with a lot of curiosity. He will run around the backyard and chase a ball for hours and also tried to carry a stick 3 times his size around, which was pretty cute I must say! He is not been neutered yet. He does try and mark in the house, hopefully this will be corrected once he is neutered.
We correct him when we see him try, and he does not try to do it again in the same spot, but we still keep our eyes on him. He does well in his crate, whimpers a little but seems to enjoy being in it. We crate him at night, when we are not here, and when our resident dogs are out and about. He seems to love sleeping on the back of the sofa and curls up like a cat to sleep.
Again, Renzo is a 13 month old owner surrender, who lived with 4 young kids. He was purchased from a breeder and is house trained, crate trained and good with other dogs (cats I do not know). Family just didn't have the time for him that he deserved. He filmed his news segment this week at 6abc and was very good, everyone fell in love with him!
