Former Fosters Brady and Rudy Update!

Hi everyone;

Its been 2 weeks since Brady and Rudy have been adopted!! WOW!! 2 weeks can you believe it???!!! I still think of them everyday and wonder what they are up to.

Just got off the phone with Glenda their new mommy and she said they are doing Great!! They have both settled in fine. Neighbors have come over to visit and they tell her how well behaved they are. (after the initial "YAY NEW PEOPLE ARE HERE TO SEE US!!) She said all is good and she has no complaints.

Took them to her vet this past week for their checkup with the new vet. Now sit down for this one........ready??.............................The vet that saw them when they were with me now lives near Glenda and works for her vet!! She needed to call my vet to get the titre results from when they had their titre test here. She even remembers seeing them!! how cool is that??  There appt went well and both are very healthy. Which is great news for a senior boy like Rudy at age 10!

I told Glenda that Brady needs longer adjustment time when being introduced to a new dog he is unfamiliar with. When I first got Brady and Rudy, He wanted to get at my Daisy SO BAD!! He barked and and growled and snarled through the x-pen I had set up to keep them separated. But once they got a chance to sniff each other through the fence and get adjusted a bit, once the introduction was made, just shy of two weeks after he got here, he was fine.

Brady is a little rambunctious when he is out for his walks and needs a little more leash training but she is fine with that. Other than that they are doing great!! She and her family adore them and they have adjusted to the move just fine. So happy to hear. So all's good with Brady and Rudy!! I have enclosed some pics she sent me.....enjoy!!
