New Foster Quincy

Quincey is a Boston Terrier/Shih Tzu mix who was surrendered by his family to an animal shelter. He is about 4 1/2 years old and did not like life in Manhattan.


Adorable little Quincey, was being driven by volunteer Ellen Hansen to his foster mom Ann Marie Gatto in Carmel NY. Wouldn't you know it, three quarters of the way there, smoke started coming out of her right wheel well and the delicious smell of burning rubber emanated through the vents. Her car had to be driven to Connecticut by tow truck. This by far was the most expensive transport known to man. Ellen notes, "I could have bought Quincy round trip on American Airlines plus dinner at his favorite steak house for less."

Now Quincey will be able to start the rest of his life loved and spoiled by Ann Marie!
