Another Cooper Update

I know I have written a few times this week already, but this little boy continues to amaze me and I want to share it with everyone! We introduced him to the other 4 dogs yesterday, although he has been greeting them through the gate so we were pretty confident he was going to be fine with them, and we were right!  He wants to be in the middle of the pack with all the action. He was running around the yard chasing toys and having the best day. He laid down on the sofa next to the others like he has done that his whole life. Amazing since he spent 7 years in a cage. We were a bit worried with him not being neutered, but he does not seem to want to get too friendly with anyone, even though he is constantly monitored with Myrtle who has not been spayed yet. We are working on the potty training, he goes out about 80% of the time, and will try and mark on occasion-but that was to be expected from him.

He is just so loving and sweet and has the the BEST personality, h e has a lot of energy (not hyper though) for a 7 year old, I would swear he was a puppy.  He loves all the toys in the house and loves chasing tennis balls. He mastered the stairs with one try-he is a really smart boy. I think he will be an easy adoption-probably do best in a home with children over 12 and I think he would love to be with other dogs-cats I feel he might chase (we don't have any, but the neighbor cat was outside and he ran after it).  Also think a fenced yard would be best as he is skittish on leash, but loves to roam around the yard.
