New Foster Lily

Lily has arrived in Newington, CT delivered by her owner. Lily was very nervous at first cowering, crouching, trembling. I was told she HATES a crate and that became obvious real fast. For now her bed is in the crate with the door open. The bed was soaked with pee, she must have wet it in her kennel at the shelter, she has been under quarantine. She had a cat leash and collar nothing a strong high anxiety boston should wear. She did not go on regular walks but she has been on several since she arrived in Newington. She loves stretching out in the grass and sun. She has allowed me to handle her and put a harness on her. She has given me a few nose licks, she drank a weeks worth of water and could not wait to have a great dinner. She is beautiful, young and only 16 lbs. Her vet had recommended prozac for Lily she is a nervous girl that was in a busy over stimulating environment. Bottom line 5 kids, no one had time to work with Lily. Lily will be a great girl in the right hands!  She will begin the journey to foster care in PA on Sunday. Now she is on my sons bed his room is in a pvt. quiet section of the house. She is relaxed and doing well!
Thank you Lisa Vaughn for getting her here!
